This Privacy Policy explains how Transio collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Transio website, document upload workflow, and Google Workspace add-on. Transio is the operator of the service. You can contact us at support@transio.xyz.
Information We Process
Transio may process documents, selected text, spreadsheet cell content, slide text, speaker notes, form questions, language selections, file names, technical request metadata, and support messages you send to us. The service is designed to process content only when you choose to upload a file or initiate a translation action.
How We Use Information
We use submitted content to provide translation, preserve document structure where possible, return translated output, troubleshoot service issues, maintain security, and respond to support requests. We do not use uploaded documents or selected Workspace content to sell advertising.
Google Workspace Add-On Data
The Google Workspace add-on is designed to act only after a user starts a translation action. It sends selected or requested text content to Transio for translation, then places translated content back into the Google document, slide deck, sheet, or form according to the user's selected mode. Styling and placement are handled by the add-on where supported.
File Handling And Retention
Uploaded documents and generated translated files may be temporarily stored so the service can process and return a download. Retention periods may vary by deployment environment. You may request deletion of content associated with your use of Transio by contacting support@transio.xyz and providing enough detail for us to locate the relevant files or requests.
Service Providers
Transio may use infrastructure providers, hosting providers, analytics-free logging, and translation infrastructure to operate the service. These providers process information only as needed to deliver the service, secure it, or support troubleshooting.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect submitted content, including server-side API handling and avoiding exposure of private translation credentials in the browser. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You control what files or Workspace content you submit for translation. You can avoid submitting sensitive content, remove add-on access through your Google account settings, and contact support@transio.xyz for access, deletion, or privacy questions.
Children's Privacy
Transio is not intended for children under 13 and should not be used to submit children's personal information without appropriate consent and authorization.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
